![]() Looking for day-by-day itineraries in Fort Bragg? Overall, this was a place I would feel comfortable dressed for a high end tasting room or in some hiking clothes, and the wine and the overall vibe were both excellent. There are numerous mountain biking and hiking trails on the property as well, so I hope to go back and sample that portion of the ranch before enjoying some more of their delicious wine afterwards. The atmosphere was relaxed, and there was ample outdoor seating with a fairly high amount of shade available. ![]() The founder stopped by our table later, and his commitment to quality and sustainability were clear, and also reflected in his son and all of the friendly employees that we met. After the return ride, we sipped on several well done wines at a nice shady table. We learned about their sustainable farming practices while climbing up the dirt road and stopped at the top to enjoy a delicious tasting while overlooking the vineyards and rolling mountain scenery. One of the founder's sons drove us, and his knowledge of the property and well deserved pride were evident. ![]() I signed us up for the Pinzgauer tour to shake things up, and it was more fun than I expected. This was the second stop for us during our first visit to Lake County vineyards, and even after numerous trips over the years to the vineyards further south on Route 29, this was another delightful discovery. ![]() Ride the Pinzgauer! Drink the wine! That's the best advice that I can give regarding this winery other than possibly suggesting that you bring your mountain bike or hiking shoes for an added treat. ![]()
